FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
These are the most common questions I receive when a couple is interested in booking me for their wedding.
How long have you been a professional photographer?
I have been photographing people, places, and things since I was a kid. I studied photography at the California Institute of the Arts and production art & design at The Art Institute of Seattle. I have worked professionally off and on in Photography, design and publishing, and television for over 30 years.
How do you describe your style?
Bold, Adventurous and Colorful. Emphasizing intimacy framed in a a broad and sweeping landscape.
How many photos come with our wedding?
A full day shoot will gross about 1200 to 1500 frames which will be then curated down to approximately 400-500 edited images for delivery. Before the final cut we review the entire catalog together for one final curation before delivery.
Do you offer prints and other wall art?
Yes! I work in cooperation with my color lab that offers a wide variety of printing options, from canvas to metallic, from albums to t-shirts and more. The options are virtually limitless.
Do you photograph engagements, portraits, elopements and intimate weddings?
Absolutely! While I do bring my personal style to the work, I rise to any event. Each event is unique, I tailor packages for every different experience. Bespoke to your individual needs and desires.
Would you be willing to hike or adventure for our photos?
One hundred percent! That's why I moved to the mountains! I started backpacking at age 12, most recently I completed OSC (Outdoor Emergency Care) to qualified for Ski Patrol! So I bring an additional level of competency to my outdoor experience.
What happens if we need to cancel or postpone our wedding?
Life can throw some us some real zingers I know. If that happens to your event never fear, we can discuss options and needs then create our “Plan B” together.
What would you do if the weather is bad for our outdoor wedding?
A good photographer comes prepared for anything they can control. For example, if the weather predicts rain, and your ceremony is outside without the option of going inside,
